The BladePro takes the Blade concept to the next level. Built entirely in CarbonFusion to make it lighter, more responsive and more stable than standard construction. This is Philip Köster’s sail.

New for 026, even the batten pockets are engineered using CarbonFusion. This creates a smooth, stitchless sail from the back of the mast sleeve to the leech. Eliminating thousands of micro-holes created by stitching delivers multiple benefits:

/ Stronger – no stitch line failure points
/ Lighter – significant weight reduction through welded construction

TECHNOLOGY IN THE SAIL - 

The SEVERNE BladePro and S-1 Pro are built entirely in welded CarbonFusion from sleeve to leech – no stitching means no failure points and significant weight reduction.

> FAT HEAD - The fat head design - adapted from S-1 development — opens further under load, improving high-end control without compromising stability. Smaller sizes feature proportionally larger heads for maneuverability, while larger sizes balance head size for aerodynamic efficiency.

> XTENDED RANGE - Xtended Range technology that allows for bigger gaps in your quiver.Xtended Range was developed to increase wind range at both the lower AND higher ends: deeper, more powerful profiles are locked in place with added skin tension to enhance control and stability.

> CARBON FUSION TECHNOLOGY - PRECISE. ALIVE. ELECTRICOur search for higher performance has brought us CarbonFusion, the next level in load-path sail construction.Carbon Fusion sails are composed of 3 key components;/ MATERIAL / FUSED SEAMS / LOAD PATH FRAMEThe result of these 3 key components effectively turns the sail into a spring. Load it up, and release for explosive performance.

> GRADIENT PANEL TECHNOLOGY - Corners have overlapped panels which reduces the amount of patching. At the same time, these overlapped areas extend into the body of the sail so it transitions the load much better, will be less stretched over time. It’s a more stable way of building sails.

Rather than a single curved luff panel, the Blade uses separate panels that radiate out of the head and tack corners. This perfectly aligns the sail material with the direction of load. Previously the curved panel would have bias stretch in all the wrong places. Direct transmission of power. Increased longevity. Total Control.

> THERMOFORMED CAMO TACK FAIRING - Protects your board from impact and neatly covers the foot detailing. It incorporates the rope stash pocket for easy storage of your downhaul rope.
